Julian Hunt

Julian Hunt is a Canadian dance artist from Terrace, British Columbia. He began dancing at age 16 and later moved to Vancouver to train at Modus Operandi under the direction of Tiffany Tregarthen, David Raymond, and Kate Franklin. During his training, he performed and studied works by Crystal Pite, Gilbert T. Small II, Jermaine Spivey, Lavinia Vago, Rachel Patrice Fallon, Jillian Meyers, Ella Rothschild and Yin Yue.
Julian joined Kidd Pivot in 2023, performing in the company’s final production Revisor and its newest creation, Assembly Hall. He is also a company member with Out Innerspace Dance Theatre, touring internationally in their latest production, Rhino.
In 2025, Julian joined Ballet Edmonton as a guest artist under Kirsten Wicklund, performing works by Kirsten Wicklund, Beatrice Larrivé, Ethan Colangelo, Marie Gyselbrecht, and Cyril Baldy. In 2026, he performed with Ballet Vancouver in works by Joshua Beamish and Wen Wei Wang.
