Kevin MacDonald
Technical Director
Kevin works as a technical director, carpenter, actor, designer, teacher and producer. He has been the TD at Studio 58, Vancouver for the past 6 years. He has acted in film, tv, and theatre, appearing on stages across Canada with companies including The Playhouse, Rumble, Pi, NeWorld, Bard on the Beach, Arts Club, ATP, NAC, CanStage and Soulpepper. Often drawn to new work Kevin has participated in over 75 workshops/readings of new plays. He was co-artistic director of Section 8, was a member of the inaugural Soulpepper Academy and a member of the Actors Conservatory at the Canadian Film Centre. His work as both an actor and a designer has been nominated for numerous awards. Kevin’s company Ravenswood Projects is the official installer of the GT Sprung Floor System, installing Dance floors in studios and theatres across Canada and beyond. Kevin is a graduate of the acting program at Studio 58.
